My Inspiration:-

'Rugged coastlines

with quirky seabirds,

trees that drip

emerald greens or

dazzling oranges, tiny,

yet bold, wildflowers

that colour the

countryside, these

are a few of the

subjects that

inspire me.'

PAINTING OF THE MONTH

This watercolour painting is of a waterfall near my home, which lockdown practically forced me to re-discover.

It is such a beautiful, magical place which my painting dosen't even begin to do justice to. Can't understand why it has been so long since I last visited it but I guess that was one of the positives of lockdown, helping us to once again appreciate our immediate surroundings.

The painting is one of 3 that will be in the

Art Society of Inverness, 77th Annual Exhibition

running from11th to 22nd July 2021

Open 10am - 5pm daily, Thurs open until 8pm

Inverness Creative Academy, Midmills, WASP Studios, Inverness, IV2 3JP.

Galleries currently showing my work are, MacGregor Fine Art, Glasgow - Castle Gallery, Inverness - Logie Steading Gallery - Carron Pottery & Gallery, Strathcarron - 1896 Gallery, Boat of Garten, Gallery 48, Cromarty - High St Merchants, Grantown-on-Spey - Chapel House Arts, Kingussie.
